Nelly Furtado

Nelly Furtado is a very famous singer. She was born in Canada on 2nd December, 1978.
She’s Canadian but her parents are Portuguese. They are from Azores.

Her first album was called “Whoa, Nelly!” (1999).
She sings Pop and Folk Style. In 2004 she was in Portugal to sing in the European football Championship.
Her greatest hits were: “I’m like a bird” (2000), “Turn off the light” (2001), “Maneater” and “All good things” (2006).
On 20th September, 2003, her first child was born. Her name is Nevis.
