It is organized by UNESCO to promote reading.

The Day was first celebrated in 1995.

EASTER

At Easter, Christians celebrate the life and ressurection
of Christ.
But it is also a time for chocolate bunnies,marshmallow chicks and coloured eggs.

The Easter rabbit and the coloured Easter eggs were originally painted
with bright colours to represent the sunlight of Spring.

Easter EEg games are very popular in the UK and the USA.
Who doesn´t know what the EASTER EGG HUNT is?

Last school year there was a big egg hunt in our school.
This time, we had a contest. Also about EGGS!
But this time we wanted to find the most original egg.
And some very original eggs were created.
